Terms and Conditions
Conditions of Registration:

The attendees acknowledge that by registering for the workshop they agree to comply with the accommodation policy in place. All attendees are to reserve their rooms at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise and will also be included in the meal plan especially designed for the Lake Louise Tandem Mass Spectrometry Workshop. Accommodation guest room rates and meal plan rates may be found here.

Registration fees may be paid by:

Using a credit card through the online payment option. This will take you to a secure site operated by PayPal.

Cancellations:

Registration cancellations received in writing by the Treasurer, Lake Louise Tandem MS Workshop by email:  Dr. David Schriemer 
dschriem@ucalgary.ca  prior to October 31 will be accepted and all fees refunded, less a $25 CDN administration fee.  Cancellations received on November 1 or later will not be refunded; however, transfer of your registration to another person is permitted.  Please email the Treasurer and  Workshop Coordinator, Janette Champ, at janette@etpsymposium.org to advise as to the name of the individual the registration is being transferred to.  Please note that the Transferee must abide by the Workshop rules.

Information

The attendees, by registering to attend, consent to the distribution of their name and address to sponsors for information distribution purposes.

Limitation of Liability:

The Workshop is not responsible for any accident, injury (including death), direct damages, indirect damages (including economic loss), costs or losses, suffered while attending, traveling to/from, or traveling between the events, even due to negligence (including gross negligence) of the Workshop its employees, servants, agents and contractors.

All delegates attend the Workshop of their own volition.  If the attendees choose to travel in spite of the current Pandemic, the Workshop is not responsible if attendees fall ill (including contracting COVID 19 or a variant thereof) during or while travelling to and from the Workshop.
The Workshop accepts no responsibility for any loss incurred while using materials or information obtained at the Workshop events.

The Workshop is not a bailee for any goods, materials, products, or any other article(s) left at the events.

Any issue regarding copyright, material, and compliance with any intellectual property law is the responsibility of the speaker(s) and the Workshop is not responsible for any infringements as a result of theft, plagiarism, libel, slander or any misuse of any material.

The Workshop reserves the right to amend or cancel any event or event times and dates. This includes changes to speakers, content and programme. In the unlikely occurrence of an event cancellation, the Workshop will return payments received in advance. The Workshop will not, however, refund any costs incurred as a result of this cancellation. The Workshop is not liable for any direct and indirect damages (including economic loss), losses, or costs due to any change or cancellation of the events.
